Another Club Championship option

The first of its kind in this area. Finally, an opportunity for area Tri Clubs or Groups (i.e., city teams, coaching clubs, Team in Training groups, etc.) to showcase their talents. This event promises to be quite an experience. All Tri Clubs are invited and encouraged to attend. Although this event provides an opportunity for clubs to compete with each other, it is not limited to clubs or club members. Individual athletes and other relays are welcome and encouraged to participate. Be sure to list your Club in the comments section of your registration form!
The White Lake International Triathlon featuring Club Wars takes place on same course as the famed White Lake Triathlon Event. The location is perfect for such an event, as the North Carolina FFA Center allows teams to campout together at the race site and enjoy the triathlete community. You can rent a cabin or just simply pitch a tent on the grounds. There will also be a Luau (NO food provided, ONLY beverages) on Saturday night at 6pm, which will give teams a chance to hang out and socialize with other Tri Clubs. Music will be provided at the Luau. Come join the fun and help promote comraderie among triathletes and Tri Clubs. The 2008 Ironman World Championships will be shown on a big screen at the Luau for all participants to enjoy.
The Inside Out Sports Dash For Divas women's only triathlon will be held on Saturday, the day before the White Lake International Triathlon featuring Club Wars. Participants are encouraged to come down Friday and compete in the beginner distance event (250m Swim, 7 mile Bike, 2 mile Run), enjoy the Luau Saturday night, and stay to race or cheer on participants in the Club Wars Triathlon on Sunday. A great way to spend a weekend!

Tri Nation OnLine Club Cup Competition

WHAT IS THE TRI NATION ONLINE CLUB CUP COMPETITION? The Club Cup Competition allows clubs from across the nation to compete against each other for prize money and national recognition. The competition is open to all clubs. There are four different divisions which are small, medium, large and mega. The number of club members determine which division your club competes in. Each club member who finishes a sprint, olympic, half, or full distance triathlon event earns points for their club.

WHY SHOULD MY CLUB PARTICIPATE? If you currently have sponsors or are looking to add more what better way to showcase your club? To compete and do well in a national competition will bring you great exposure. We have a Club Cup title sponsor which is paying up to $1000.00 to each of the winning clubs this season. Plus, show the rest of the country where the top triathletes really reside!

WHAT ELSE? The competition began March 1st and ends November 15th. The clubs with the most points and the most active clubs at the end of the season will win the prize money. If a club has not began entering their results before August 1st they will not be eligible to win the Club Cup title or prize money.
